I have been a huge Marvel fan (mom of boys😉), and I greatly appreciate your articulation. So much so that I shared to FB. Thank you.

I took have never been a follower of the Marvel Universe although as a kid I really liked Woner Woman and Stan Lee's Superman. But as I am going through a divorce and realizing just how hard life can be when you are forced to change the presence of G-d has been what's kept me going : Whern I was statically homeless through finding a small subsidized apartment which took about 5 months and now feeling the loss as the last of her stuff was removed and returned this morning I have done little more than cry today really for the first time over this.

And the question is and always has been:"What now? What am I supposed to be learning THIS time YHWH?"

Stay tuned my child, stay tuned

I'm not a fan of the "presence over answers" response to the unnecessary suffering. A God present and able to stop the evil isn't loving. That deity is a sadist. Or worse. But if God can't prevent the evil and suffers with those who suffer, we can realistically say that God is loving.

Perhaps see another post I make on this subject, which features some engagement with your work. https://open.substack.com/pub/lorenrichmondjr/p/the-problem-of-parental-perspective?r=n4ugn&utm_medium=ios
