I think that much of the mainline has lost the ability to see or the language to tell what they see. I absolutely think that God is still working among us.
I like The Tipping Point! And as a nerd, I like to cross-check with anti-fragile and complexity concepts. What pattern emerges combining those three is more like the early church growth or Iran’s church growth - more women leaders, more underground, less hierarchy, less dogma. The Tipping Point connectors are often the women in invisible networks. All the fighting about who should sit at the head of the table puts a real damper on a tipping point type moment.
The battle is a long long one! Also agree - Stop letting go of beautiful buildings! Space matters!
